Engage. Educate. Excel.
Afterschool Boardroom teaches advanced financial literacy to middle schoolers. We call it Boardroom Literacy.™ Specifically, our goal is to develop deep understanding and critical thinking in a new breed of future leaders by presenting sophisticated concepts in a clear and accessible manner which includes multi-media and interactive exercises. These are short, structured lessons designed to build real Boardroom Literacy™ - one concept at a time.
Kids that are in middle school today will be in boardrooms tomorrow. There are hedge funds led by 25 year-olds, Silicon Valley VCs that are less than 30, and game-changing start-ups that were started in college dorms. Kids of Wall Street parents know this and they've been teaching their sons and daughters sophisticated financial concepts since they could talk. Make these concepts second nature for your kids too -- even if you don't understand the world of finance and big business.
Among the topics we cover are:
• Basic financial literacy, including budgeting, opportunity cost, and personal money management
• Stocks, bonds and the significance of investing
• Intro to Economics 101
• Sophisticated real-world business scenarios.
In short, Boardroom Literacy.™
Our objective is to present your kids with information that typical students would not normally encounter until much later in life.
At Afterschool Boardroom, we will change the way your kid views the world and expand their capacity to dream.
Best Regards,
The Chairman
